A family-run campsite. Here we emphasize that it should be welcoming and cozy.
We are very happy with the nature around us. Just a short walk and you are down by the water, as we are located a little north of the fjord, where the Sidinge dam is built. A short drive takes you to Kongsøre forest, with good routes for walking, cycling paths and a beautiful beach with a long bathing jetty. See more under the point, about the area.
Kongsøre camping is a site with age. The campsite was built back in 1968. It has developed over time and is located in beautiful hilly terrain. We offer 130 units and also various rental options. The site slopes down towards the mouth of the Lammefjord, with the pump house beautifully on the horizon.
The site offers both quiet corners and open spaces with views over the fields. There are also central spaces close to one of the playgrounds. We are open all year round, and the service building is heated in winter. There is always the possibility of staying with us – both summer and winter you can book shelters, your own unit for caravans and motorhomes or rent one of our units.
Experience wildlife and family activities at Kongsøre Camping
Kongsøre camping also offers the opportunity to get to know animals. The children can come in and pet the rabbits. Our chickens walk around and find sprouts in the ground. On the site we have 2 bird aviaries, with different breeds. One in the courtyard, which you can enjoy while sitting there and enjoying your food, or simply enjoying their company and the pleasant bird whistle. The other can be seen on the way to the swimming pool.
The site also offers great opportunities for activities. We have mini golf, ladder golf, several playgrounds, go-kart rentals and a lovely swimming pool.
In connection with the reception, there is a small kiosk that, in addition to selling groceries, also offers freshly baked breakfast bread and various dishes to take away, either to enjoy by your caravan, or you can sit in our cozy courtyard. In addition, we have a cozy bar on the site, where there is both billiards and darts. There are many music evenings during the summer.
